Technological Beginnings:

#2. Developed a Visual Ranking for teachers to rank the order of importance of 21st Century Skills.
#3. Created a Visual Ranking for students to rank which industries will have the least negative effect on the environment at the same time as providing the most benefits to society.

What I have Learned About the Colorado Growth Model:
#1. Colorado Legislature approved the Colorado Growth Model in March 2008. The Colorado Growth Model is an accountability system that tracks individual acheivement over time. Analyzing individual student growth, allows for goal setting in order to assure each student is proficient by 10th grade. This system will help analyze which school's are showing growth and which schools need more state resouces or training to ensure more student's are moving towards their goal of becoming proficient by 10th grade. The Colorado Growth Model will be determined by CSAP scores and will indicate whether a particular school has made AYP. The state of Colorado will issue a report to each school in August 2009 that contains median growth percentile by grade and performance level for each student and which student made adequate yearly growth. The idea is to use these reports to find out the growth needed for each individual to become proficient and use this information to set goals with the student and his/her family.
