ABOUT ME: I was born in the island of Cuba, and exiled my country in 1960. After living in other parts of the USA, I landed in this beautiful land of Colorado in 1986. I miss the beaches in Cuba,the magestic mountains of Colorado make up for my longing of my beloved island. I have three children, the youngest son Nicholas,was born in Colorado. My oldest son Michael, a recent graduate of DU just movee to California, and my daughter Nicole is a local musician. www.nicoletorres.com.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: I have been in the Early Care and Education field for 24 years. Presently I work as a Professional Development Coach for Clayton Early Learning as the Statewide Coordinator for a Friend, Family & Neighbor project called A Place of Our Own / Los Ninos en Su Casa.
